Policy Overview
We peer to improve latency, resiliency, and path symmetry across Australia. Bilateral public peering is preferred; private interconnects are available above 1 Gb/s. Route-server peering at IXPs is supported and preferred.
Requirements
- Average >100 Mb/s for bilats; >1 Gb/s for PNIs
- IPv4 required; IPv6 optional
- MD5 optional; multihop by exception
- Blackhole & FlowSpec accepted; BGP communities recommended
- No ratio requirement; no contract required

- Publish IRR objects and RPKI ROAs
- Aggregate routes; avoid excessive de-aggregation
